EPA Waste Licence

Packaging Laundry Ltd was proud to be awarded an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Waste Licence in October 2020.We are now the only site in Ireland with an EPA licence specifically for reconditioning IBCs and drums. The EPA licence is a significant upgrade from the Waste Facility Permit we operated under for our first three years, allowing us to process a wider range of waste remnants and EWC codes, including remnants of hazardous materials, and offering full legal peace of mind to us and our customers. Waste Collection Permit

All our transport partners have waste collection permits for the areas in which they operate. These can be provided in advance of any collection.

Legal Paperwork

Packaging Laundry Ltd can undertake the waste transfer forms required for Trans Frontier Shipment (TFS) when used industrial containers are collected for cleaning. We will do this, on behalf of our clients, at no extra charge – we are registered with the TFS office to do so. So, the training or registration required to undertake this step of the container re-use process need not be a hurdle in your move towards greener practices. We will also provide waste tracking forms and/or a Certificate of Reuse for each collection, for your regulatory reporting. A full audit trail is visible when using Packaging Laundry. We are also happy to provide customers with reports to assist with any end-of-year regulatory and corporate requirements.
